Traderinv gives traders a choice of two account options : Professional and Retail.
Our Professional Account is for investors who wish to trade with higher leverage and 0% margin close-out, and to receive promotions. It is suitable for traders who have the experience, knowledge and capability to make their own investment decisions and understand the risks involved. As a Professional Client you also accept to waive some of the protections under the rules of business conduct, including the right to compensation under the Investor Compensation Fund and the right to address a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman. Retail Clients may also request to be treated as Professional if the relevant criteria are fulfilled.
The following tables provide more information on both account options.
For a Professional Account you need to meet at least two of the following requirements:
1. You have carried out transactions, in significant size, on the relevant market at an average frequency of 10 per quarter over the previous four quarters.
2. The size of your financial instrument portfolio, defined as including cash deposits and financial instruments, exceeds EUR 500,000.
3. You work/have worked in the financial sector for at least one year in a professional position which requires knowledge of the transactions or services envisaged.
